While I was at Fleet Feet discovering my magic shoes, I decided to try a pair of Injinji sock liners. These “toe socks” are like gloves for your feet. The idea is that the material between your toes reduces blisters not only by keeping your skin from rubbing on your shoes but from rubbing on itself.
They felt a little weird at first – but after getting my over-socks and shoes on, I really didn’t even notice. I tried them without any tape or Body Balm (both of which I used on my 24k).
After a 5 mile hike I felt completely fine. Not overly-warm and zero hot spots. I stopped and assessed moisture and although the socks were not 100.00000% dry, they (and my feet) were barely even moist.
Success!
Hey DB, thank you for sharing the information. Is it used in summer days?

They are pretty lightweight, so any time you wear socks you can wear these!
